Bhangarh Fort | Haunted Places | Trip to Bhangarh

Bhangarh Fort- a place about that we are pretty sure, you must have already heard of Bhangarh fort story, if you are a thrill-seeker.

By road, Trip to Bhangarh Fort took almost five hours from Delhi. As i am an avid traveller, i love to drive and explore new destinations. In January 2020, my friends and I decided to visit for a short thrill trip after knowing the exited Bhangarh fort story. So here we are four of us, decided to drive for one of the India’s most Haunted Places – Bhangarh Fort. After a leisurely breakfast, we started our drive from Delhi at 09:30 in the morning. We packed some munch and drink for the route, and the weather was also so charm and welcoming, that filled us with glee.

After crossing the Bhiwadi and driving for almost 30 minutes, we were far away from the central city, and the scenery changed, the landscape grew rural, and traffic got thinner. Trucks and cars are fewer, but the frequency of tractors and Juggaad increases. You need to be extra curious when you cross these kinds of Juggaad and tractors that have no sense of traffic and seemingly lower IQs.

Finally, around 3 o’clock, we have reached our destination-Chandigarh- a ruined city that excavated a few decades ago.

  • On the way to Bhangarh crossed the forest area.
  • Thanagazi from where you need to take a left turn
  • If you stuck somewhere, instead of asking for Bhangrah ask for Ajabgarh a small town on the way of Bhangarh fort.
  • After crossing the Ajabgarh, the road becomes more picturesque with the stunning Aravalli hills in the background

  • Then take the way to Dausa and drive for about 10 minutes, and you will find an arrow for Bhangarh.
  • The solid rock parapenting, the sturdy construction of the main gate
  • Approx 20 mins walk from the main entrance to the palace

Because of the  Bhangarh fort story, people are not allowed to enter the fort before sunrise or after sunset due to the many accounts of it haunted. While we were walking back, peacocks and monkeys seen previously had already disappeared. The feeling and the environment that has created in the evening has made us believe in the supernatural existence. Of course, the horror background- Bhangarh fort story had its effect.

It’s advisable to follow the rules and leave the fort before sunset.

What could be better: Nearby Bhangarh fort, there isn’t anywhere that you can grab a bite to eat, so pack your food and water with you. Apart from the Bhangarh, don’t miss these beautiful places- Narayani Mata Temple, Siliserk Lake Palace and the Sariska Tiger Reserve.

It’s advisable to follow the rules and leave the fort before sunset. Plan your trip to bhangarh Fort wisely and keep in mind the time limitations.
